our story
In 2008, Alzu Group was founded in Costa Rica with a clear vision: leverage the country’s agricultural richness to manufacture premium tropical snacks to international standards. What started as a family project quickly evolved into an industrial operation with export-grade infrastructure.
Over time, we stopped being just a snack brand and became what we truly are: a manufacturing partner. Today we work with distributors in the US, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America who rely on our facility to supply their markets.
Our infrastructure, certifications, and logistics expertise are built for one purpose: getting your product to market with the quality and timelines your business demands.

Alzu Group is born in Costa Rica as a family business dedicated to manufacturing tropical snacks from 100% natural cassava sourced from local farmers.
First official shipment to the United States, the beginning of our international journey and the shift to a B2B distribution model.
Investment in automated production lines. FDA and IFS certifications obtained. Full commercial volume capability established.
Entry into Caribbean and Central American markets: Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Panama, and Nicaragua.
Consolidated operation as a full private label and bulk manufacturing partner for distributors across 8+ countries.
